Dr. Bev Vaughn is a Usui Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master teacher (ICRT), an Animal Reiki Master teacher (ICRT), a certified EFT tapping clinician (EFTMP-C) and a Breathworks coach for pain and anxiety. Dr. Vaughn works with cancer patients and survivors with the Hirsch Wellness Network and she also provides Reiki sessions through the Alight Integrative Therapies of Cone Cancer Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. Additionally she gives Reiki sessions at her home in Greensboro, NC and distance Reiki and EFT tapping sessions online. She teaches Animal Reiki and all levels of Usui/Holy Fire III and Karuna Reiki.

Prior to her foray into the field of meditative energy healing, Dr. Vaughn taught in the NC public school system for 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Westminster Choir College and a Master of Music and PhD in Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. In addition to teaching choir, theater, humanities. and general music, Dr. Vaughn was a guest choral director for all-county programs, guest lecturer both nationally and internationally and teaches private voice and piano. She founded and directed the Rockingham County Youth Chorus. Currently, she is a Stephen-minister, and a Community of Hope lay minister. She enjoys doing energy work, hiking, painting, and being a student of life!
